On the afternoon of December 12, Chen Leiming, Secretary of the Party Branch, Executive President and Secretary-General of CAMT, met with Martin Van Leeuwen, Director of Technology and Market Development of the International Zinc Association, Dr. Babina Grund, Deputy Director of Sustainable Development, Member of the Board of Directors of the German Metallurgical Society and the Mining Society, and Chairman of the Zinc Expert Technical Committee. In-depth exchanges were conducted on issues such as green environmental protection and sustainable development of galvanizing industry.

Chen Leiming welcomed the delegation, and gave a detailed introduction to the work of CAMT in promoting the innovation and development of the industry, the construction of a modern steel supply chain, the technological innovation of metal materials and the formulation of standards for related groups. He said that CAMT,as a national industry association, gives full play to the function of industry organizations to leading, standardizing, guiding and serveing, and promotes the low-carbon and green development of China's steel industry. CAMT is willing to continue to cooperate with the International Zinc Association in the promotion of advanced technology, international technical exchanges and cooperation, and jointly boost the high-quality development of the steel industry in China and the world.
